I have just finished the third year of my undergraduate degree at Oxford Brookes University.

…Is all I had to say after clicking the ‘Submit & Finalise’ button on Moodle.

In fact, I headed straight into work at John Lewis (potentially ten minutes late, as I was waiting for the submission receipt to land in my inbox).

Fun fact about my degree: I didn’t have any exams. This meant that I didn’t get the standard “exam-finished, throw the books down a flight of stairs“ finish; mine was individual.

Funny enough, whilst in one click my degree had come to an end, it was the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I haven’t got a clue regarding what I want to do with this chapter yet, but I’m excited. I’m going back to the drawing board with all of the experiences I’ve been through in the previous one!

Whilst university has been a rollercoaster of both positive and negative experiences, I’d say that these have been some of the most exciting years of my life, despite some incredibly challenging moments. I’ve made new friends and connections, experienced both positive and negative relationships, completed a three-year undergraduate degree, and acted on three of my business plans.

Many of my friends and peers reading this will understand the intricate details of the above statements, but what I’m trying to get at is that I’ve lived the last few years of my life to the absolute fullest. Not something I’ve always been doing, but something I with absolute certainty can tell you I will be doing for as long as I possibly can.

I want to thank each and every person who’s been involved in my life for the last three years for being there. I honestly wouldn’t change anything, the good or the bad.

From me to you, change is bloody terrifying, but I’ve never grown without it…
